Eden Foods, the US organic products firm that last year started offering its baked beans in 15oz cans that were free of bisphenol A (BPA), has broadened its range into its 29oz family-size cans.

Despite food safety organisations around the world saying that there’s no threat to health from the use of high-performance BPA-based epoxy phenolic internal coatings in cans, Eden is prepared to sell its products at a premium by appealing to the BPA-free lobby.
