End maker in Spain to move into Mexico

September 11: Spanish manufacturer of tinplate easy-open lids for food cans, Global Ends is planning to install its first offshore factory next year in Mexico.
The new end-making facility will be possibly based near Mexico City, Guadalajara or Mazatlán, said Rafael Vázquez, general manager of the Murcia-based company.
“The move follows our strategy of providing a good-quality service and being near where our customers are,” he said.
