March 17: Indian canmaking firm Kaira Can Company is planning to expand and modernise its plant at Mumbai.

The expansion, it says, involves replacing old printing and coating equipment with higher-capacity power-saving machines. The cost of the investment will be around Rs65m (US$1.4m).
