Fast track to beverage can president for Ball's Hranicka

January 5: Michael Hranicka has been appointed president of Ball Corporation’s beverage canmaking division in the Americas. The move recognises his work in integrating the recently-acquired Metal Container plants into Ball’s operations and in getting “closer to customers”.

Hranicka was formerly executive vice president and chief operating officer for Ball’s North American beverage can business, a position he took up just a few months ago, in 2009.
