First Russian beverage can plant for Can-Pack

February 5: Poland-based Can-Pack plans to start up its first beverage canmaking plant in Russia as part of a significant expansion of its operations over the next 12 months.
The new facility will have capacity to make 1 billion aluminium drinks cans a year, the company’s vice president for operations Stanislaw Wasko has told The Canmaker.
This would be the first of two plants that Can-Pack is planning for the country.
