September 25: China’s only manufacturer of steel two-piece beverage cans, Shanghai Baoyi Can Making Company, is building its fourth canmaking plant in the southern Guangdong province.
Due to start up mid-2008 at Shunde, near Foshan, the new plant will be supplying Coca-Cola as its key customer.
