Danish canmaker Glud & Marstrand has agreed to be acquired by one of Mexico’s leading packaging manufacturers, Envases Universales, based near Mexico City.
The deal, which is subject to normal closing conditions, will create a group with significant food and beverage canmaking operations in Central America, and food can manufacturing interests in Europe and China.
