August 5: Leading European tinplate manufacturer Rasselstein has confirmed it will be cutting output of tinplate in the next fiscal year due to shortages of hot-rolled coil.
The announcement follows Rasselstein’s warning to canmaking companies in June, informing them about “possible cuts in quantities delivered, in the probable case of an insufficient supply of pre-materials.”
