October 8: Delfin Gibert, chief executive of Exal Corporation (pictured), has talked about the company’s plans to expand into Brazil with a US$100 million project to build aluminium aerosol canmaking and filling lines near São Paulo.

 

News of the project was first broken by Gibert in May when he revealed that a site had been obtained at the FazGran Industrial Park in Jundiai. Since then, Argentina’s Envases del Plata and Europe’s ColepCCL have announced plans for aerosol can and filling plants in Brazil.
