May 6: Sales of canned foods in China rose last year by a third to more than ¥50 billion (US$7.5bn), making the market the fastest growing in the world. That is why manufacturers of metal cans from around the world are meeting in China for Cannex Asia Pacific, the biggest showcase for canmaking technology which this June is being held in Guangzhou.
