April 1: Michael Herdman, formerly president of canmaking firm Ball Packaging Europe, today returns to the US to take up the newly-created position of chief commercial officer at Ball Corporation.
Based at Ball’s headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado, Herdman (pictured right) will be focusing on developing drinks can customers worldwide.
Gerrit Heske, formerly chief operating officer of Ball Packaging Europe (BPE), takes over as its president.
