Rocky Mountain brewer Coors is celebrating the history of its Banquet beer brand with a set of limited edition cans that are being marketed in the US from this week through to the end of March.
Beer has been produced at the Golden, Colorado, brewery since 1873 and four so-called “yellow-belly” designs for Banquet commemorate those that were used on bottles and cans in 1880, 1936, the 1950s and when the first aluminium cans were adopted in 1959.
