High-speed fish can line for Impress

April 25: World-leading fish can manufacturer Impress has commissioned its first high-speed production line from equipment supplier Sankyo America.
Installed at Impress’s Bloomberg, Virginia, plant in March, the line runs at 600 steel cans per minute and offers the facility to make three sizes of can.
Carl Hoying of Sankyo America, a Japanese-owned company based in Sidney, Ohio, revealed details of the line at Cannex 2007 which opened today in Las Vegas.
