August 26: Japanese-style aluminium bottle cans could soon be manufactured in Europe following an agreement between Japan’s Daiwa Can and Netherlands-based canmaking company Impress.

The two canmakers have agreed on a strategic alliance to develop and commercialize novel types of metal packaging.
