A new canning line has been started up by Great Lakes Brewing Co (GLBC) as it switches to cans from bottles.
According to the Ohio-based independent brewer, the 67,000 sq ft facility in Strongsville will be able to fill more than 300 cans per minute and will give the company control over the management of year-round, seasonal and limited-edition canning. Previously GLBC had transported beer in tankers to be bottled by a co-packer.
