December 23: Can-Pack’s first Western Europe beverage can plant has been dubbed the Investment of the Year in the Packaging News 2009 Review.
The £40 million project completed in January 2009 was the first beverage can plant to be constructed in the UK in 20 years. With contracts from major brewers, the plant has a capacity to make 1 billion 44cl and 50cl cans a year.
