March 3: Iraq’s first beverage can plant will be one of the biggest projects of its kind in the Middle East when it is completed later this year.
Harith Aziz, managing director of Neba, the Jordanian drinks and confectionary group, has ordered the construction of the plant near Baghdad. It is expected that the project will be worth more than $100 million.
