Japanese canmaking firm Showa Aluminum Can is to buy a controlling stake in Rexam-Hanacans, the Vietnamese beverage can manufacturer controlled by the Hanaka group. It has no connection with UK-based Rexam, one of the world’s largest drinks can producers.
