JFE Steel and Rasselstein set up canstock partnership

March 5: Japan’s JFE Steel and German tinplate maker Rasselstein have signed a technical agreement for the development of steels for canmaking applications.
“Through this agreement, which includes exchange of leading-edge technical information and joint research, development and application of innovative technologies in the field of steel for cans and other packaging, the two companies seek to deepen their existing technical exchange and expand their cooperation in the areas of manufacturing processes and materials development,” said Rasselstein in a statement.
