Malaysia’s leading canmaking firm Kian Joo is planning to expand its operations into Indonesia for the first time, says general manager Dato Anthony See (pictured), as it reorganises its two-piece beverage can plants in the domestic market and some of its family shareholders fend off attempts by a smaller rival canmaker to control the company.
