Korea spearheads bottle-making lines

The latest to provide D&I aluminium bottle technology is Belvac with two lines coming on stream in South Korea.

Drinks producers in South Korea will soon be the first in the world to use a new design of aluminium bottle, domestic production of which started late last year.

Two canmaking firms have installed lines using Belvac’s Bottle Can Manufacturing System (BCMS) which converts preforms made on a D&I beverage can front end into necked and shaped bottles with screw threads.
