August 29: A Colorado-based energy drink manufacturer is first to use a laser-incised beverage can tab produced by canmaker Ball Corporation.
The coloured tabs provide space for logos and advertising messages that enhance the value of the can.
Go Fast Sports & Beverage Company, which has added energy drinks to its range of sports clothing, will be using the special tabs on its Go Fast! energy drinks from September.
