March 25: Red Bull fans in the UK will be able to take a bigger gulp of their favourite energy drink from the end of this month when it is launched in larger cans.
The brand that established the energy drink sector in the UK 13 years ago with 25cl slim cans and more recently offered sugar-free and cola variants in 35.5cl cans will be sold in 47.3cl sleek cans made by Rexam in Austria.
They will be the largest sleek cans so far offered.
Reason for what seems an odd volume, says Red Bull UK, is that it maintains the slim proportions.
