August 11: Michael Hranicka (right) has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Ball Corporation’s North American metal beverage packaging operations.
And it looks likely that he will be heading Ball’s drinks can business in North America and Asia next year, replacing John Friedery who has announced his intention to leave the company early in 2010.
