March start for Toyo Seikan’s first Chinese bevcan plant

January 8: Toyo Seikan’s first beverage can plant in China is expected to be commissioned sooner than first thought.
Japan’s leading packaging manufacturer will start operations making two-piece cans in March at a joint-venture project at Chongqing in central China, much earlier than its project recently announced for Guangzhou in the south.
