Ardagh Group, which produces both metal and glass packaging for blue-chip customers in the food, drinks and personal care industries, says it is the first company to meet the Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency’s Cradle-to-Cradle* standards for the assessment of its canmaking products.
The case study – which emphasises metal packaging’s infinite recyclability with no loss of quality and its long shelf life within the ambient food supply chain – is one of a number detailed in Ardagh’s first Sustainability Report.
