May 24: Metal decorators, the people who bring you attractively printed cola cans and biscuit tins, meet in Chicago today and tomorrow for their annual international convention.
Members of the International Metal Decorators Association (IMDA) will be at the Indian Lakes Resort to hear presentations about branding and the technological challenges of improving the lithographical process.
Highlight of today’s agenda is a keynote from Meg Hammond, Pepsi-Cola’s national accounts manager on how the soft drinks manufacturer used clever labeling on cans to create a new way of communicating with its consumers.
