With the objective of promoting metal packaging products as recognised and valuable contributors to sustainability in public policy and through the supply chain, Metal Packaging Europe, was launched on Friday at the Interpack show in Germany
The organisation represents the interests of canmakers, their metal suppliers and existing trade associations such as Apeal, the packaging steel producers, Beverage Can Makers Europe, the European Aluminium Association and European Metal Packaging (Empac).
