April 9: Japan’s leading packaging manufacturer Toyo Seikan Kaisha (TSK) has ordered its second eight-colour Metalstar 2 metal decorating line for its canmaking operations.
Made by KBA-MetalPrint in Germany, the line will start up in southern Japan in the fourth quarter this year.
It will follow the commissioning of another Metalstar 2 line in July in the US, at specialty and general line canmaking firm Independent Can.
