Molson Coors wants to invigorate the UK beer market with a £7.3 million relaunch of three of its brands in aluminium bottles.
With a redesign provided by Echo Brand Design, Caffrey’s, Carling and Coors Light beers will be sold in 45cl impact-extruded bottles supplied by Boxal in France, part of the US-based Exal group.
It is not yet clear whether all of Molson Coors’ glass bottles will be phased out in the UK after the relaunch to the on- and off-trade that starts in August. It has just launched a beer aimed at women called Animée using glass. Carling in cans has also been redesigned as part of the relaunch.
