South Africa’s leading canmaking firm Nampak is planning to convert more of its two-piece beverage canmaking lines from tinplate to aluminium. And to meet some of the demand for canstock, for the first time domestic aluminium products manufacturer Hulamin Corp will be producing coil suitable for can bodies.
