September 1: China’s leading manufacturer of two-piece steel beverage cans is planning to take a bigger share of the growing domestic packaged drinks market with two new factories that will start production in 2007.
The new plants will increase capacity at Shanghai Baoyi Can Making Company by more than a third to three billion cans a year.
