More shapely bottles from Belvac

To complement its Bottle Container Manufacturing System (BCMS), two examples of which were installed at canmaking plants in South Korea last year, Belvac Production Machinery’s chief executive Rick Steigerwald (pictured) recently revealed a shaping system that is claimed to run at up to 1,200 items a minute.

Belvac’s D&I bottle-making process is similar to the systems being used by Exal Corporation and Rexam and offers a lighter-weight alternative to impact-extruded aluminium bottles.
