More wind energy used to power Ball’s canmaking plants

A panel of 1,400 cans made by Ball grace the Sumaré subway in São Paulo, Brazil. The panel reproduces a shot of a turtle photographed by Marcelo Krause as part of an environmental campaign that bears the slogan “Our love for the ocean is infinite”.

Ball Corporation is working with a renewable energy supplier that will enable the canmaker to source enough wind power to feed nearly half of its North American manufacturing plants.
