Moroccan seafood canner to start up in March

February 6: Production is expected to start in March at Morocco’s latest and most modern seafood canning plant, Silverfood.
Silverfood has invested around 25m euros ($31m) to build the country’s most automated fish processing facility on a 33,000 sqm site near Casablanca.
The plant will use about 280 million cans a year, much of which will be supplied by local manufacturers such as Mutronic and newcomer Impress.
