Metals used for canmaking are ‘permanent materials’ and are key to developing a resource efficient society. This was the concept launched on Tuesday by Metal Packaging Europe (MPE) at a debate in Brussels attended by Members of the European Parliament , Commissioners, canmakers and metal suppliers.
