May 1: Cans that take up a quarter of the shipping space of conventional metal containers, thereby offering cost savings, are being launched this summer by Denmark’s Glud & Marstrand.Called the CupCan, the decorated 10cl and 15cl drawn containers nest into each other.
“The new can is stackable which means that it takes up approximately one quarter of space required by the traditional straight-walled can during its transport and storing,” says Glud & Marstrand marketing manager Anne Krintel.
