Stabburet, a leading Norwegian manufacturer of jams and ready meal products, is the latest food manufacturer to offer consumers the benefits of canmaking firm Crown’s easy-opening Orbit closure.
The two-piece tinplate closure, first launched in 2011, requires half the twisting force to open vacuum jars compared with conventional versions. It has won a number of packaging awards, including a Gold in the Ends Caps & Closures category of The Cans of the Year, which is backed by The Canmaker magazine.
