The price paid for used aluminium beverage cans (UBCs) in the UK has been raised by more than 8 percent to £920 (US$1,476) per tonne.
Novelis, the world’s largest recycler of aluminium beverage cans, increased the price offered for baled and densified UBCs this week to “align its own commercial activity with market conditions”.
