As Novelis, the world’s leading manufacturer of aluminium sheet for canmaking, commissions the 220,000-tonne expansion of its Pinda mill in Brazil, it revealed in its results for the fiscal third-quarter that almost $40 million had been lost after the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
