May 25: Canmaking giant Rexam has responded to the growing beverage can market in Brazil by agreeing a multiple-year deal with Novelis for aluminium canstock and endstock.
In the deal, Brazilian subsidiary Novelis do Brasil will supply all the canstock used by Rexam’s ten Brazilian canmaking operations – including the Pouso Alegre plant due to be re-opened later this year – and the canmaker’s one Argentine plant.
