The Alunorf aluminium recycling centre expansion in Germany was officially unveiled yesterday by Novelis, the world’s leader in aluminium canstock for canmaking.

The 14 million euro (US$18.7m) expansion at Neuss was inaugurated by the prime minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hannelore Kraft, at a ceremony in company with representatives from Novelis, its customers and local officials.
