Baosteel’s beverage canmaking plant at Wuhan in China was officially opened last week.
It’s the fifth two-piece can plant to be completed by the steelmaker’s canmaking division and the first to produce aluminium cans. Baosteel’s other plants are at Shanghai, Hebei, Chengdu and Foshan.
