Padovani forms bigger tinplate service group

Padovani, the Italian-based tinplate service group, has acquired an additional 60.1 percent of Comesa, a Spanish-based tinplate service centre. This increases the Padovani group’s share of Comesa to a controlling 77 percent.

The uniting of Comesa and Padovani creates the largest tinplate service centre group in Europe, processing more than 300,000 metric tonnes of tinmill products per year and having plants in Spain, Italy, Poland and Belgium.
