Pelliconi to start up closure plant in Florida

April 16: Leading bottle closure manufacturer Pelliconi will soon be manufacturing its products in North America, following the leasing of a building in Florida.

Italy-based Pelliconi, which recently divested its Cevolani canmaking machinery subsidiary to Paritel Finanziaria in a share-exchange deal, will initially be making plastics closures at the Orlando factory for various Nestlé Waters brands such as Zephyr Hills and Deer Park, said Robert Blackwell, principal with Orlando-based NAI Realvest, who represented Pelliconi in the deal.

But the opportunity to make metal closures for North American customers may also be exploited.
