P&G launches environmental scorecard for suppliers

May 14: Global brand owner Procter & Gamble has launched a rating process to measure and improve the environmental performance of its key suppliers.

So if you are a canmaking company supplying to brands such as Fabreze air fresheners, Gillette shaving products or Ekanuba pet food it’s likely that you’ll need to complete a scorecard to assess your environmental footprint. You’ll be encouraged to improve your score by measuring energy use, water use, waste disposal and greenhouse gas emissions on a year-to-year basis.
