December 15: The first aluminium drinks cans have been made at Can-Pack’s newly-constructed canmaking factory in the UK.
It is the first beverage can plant to be built in Western Europe by the Polish-based company which until now has been expanding in its domestic market, Ukraine, Romania and the Middle East. Next year it expects to complete another factory in Russia.
