October 30: The future is bright for the global soft drinks industry, says Coca-Cola’s chief executive Muhtar Kent.
Speaking at the recent InterBev 2008 show in Las Vegas, Kent predicted that the industry will be worth $1,000bn by 2020 – around one-and-a-half times its current value.
