A “leading canmaker” and an aluminium canstock manufacturer have been collaborating with a new design of resealable beverage can lid that is expected to be launched soon with a major drinks brand.
The 3L Technologies lid has been under development for three years by French entrepreneur Franck Lucas and like a number of similar designs uses injection-moulded plastics components attached to an aluminium shell.
