May 18: A ribbed food can launched briefly in the early 1990s has been revived by German soup manufacturer Stockmeyer for use in a test marketing project in the UK.
The Quantum can, which uses vertical flutes on the sides of the three-piece welded body, was introduced by CarnaudMetalbox in 1994 and used by Homepride but never found wider popularity.
